چکیده

The growing need of multifunctional materials with tailor made properties led in the last decades to development novel commercial polymer blends, possessing superior physical respect traditional matrices and showing economical advantages synthesis new plastics. Due progressive increase environmental concerns on management plastic wastes, difficulties sorting technologies limited chemical compatibility between greatest part pairs, technical potential blends often remains unexploited when recycling stage is considered. In some cases, also addition compatibilizers recycled does not represent a satisfactory solution retain and/or their properties. aim this review that perform critical analysis potentialities recycling. After an introductive section problems definitions plastics recycling, basic concepts about behaviour are reported. third focused mechanical general distinction techniques applied compatible un-compatible performed. chapter, commingled deriving from unsorted wastes effect thermal reprocessing morphological thermo-mechanical Considering increasing importance bioplastics modern society, fourth chapter containing bioplastics, particular attention polylactic acid (PLA) thermoplastic starch (TPS) based blends. key aspects future perspectives summarized review.
